How it works

How Rupert runs investor outreach.

Three stages. Research, targeting, writing, follow-up and pipeline support — handled by an operator, with you remaining in control of every conversation.

Step 1

Discovery & Strategy

Map the raise and build a precise investor universe before a single message is written.

  1. Understand the Raise

It starts with a direct conversation with Dori — the company, the story, the round, traction, and what has already been tried. The goal is to understand what makes the company fundable and where the outreach should concentrate, not to run a generic intake form.

  2. Build the Investor Universe

Rupert researches a tailor-made target list from a proprietary investor database — filtered by stage, sector, geography, check size, and genuine fit. Names are selected with human judgment, not sprayed across a directory and called a match.

  3. Develop the Strategy

Positioning, investor segments, messaging, and campaign approach are defined around the company and the raise. A seed-stage specialist and a family office are different conversations. The strategy treats them that way before any outreach is written.

Step 2

Campaign Launch

Write the outreach, get your approval, then run the campaign with disciplined follow-up.

  1. Craft the Outreach

Messaging is written for your company and tailored to each investor audience — subject lines, proof points, and follow-ups designed for how that type of investor actually decides. This is not a generic sequence with the company name dropped in.

  2. Review & Approve

You review the strategy, the target list, and the messaging before anything is sent. Nothing goes out without founder approval. Rupert does the work; you keep control of how the company is presented.

  3. Launch & Follow Up

Once approved, Rupert runs the campaign and manages follow-up with consistency and discipline. The operational load — sequencing, timing, and keeping the process moving — sits with Rupert so you can stay on the company.

Step 3

Meetings & Momentum

Turn replies into the right conversations and keep the process moving through the raise.

  1. Qualify the Interest

Every response is visible to you. Rupert helps identify which investors are showing real interest and which conversations should be prioritized, so time goes to the meetings that actually matter.

  2. Prepare for Meetings

When a conversation is worth taking, the story is sharpened for that investor — likely questions, relevant proof points, and what they will care about given their mandate. You walk in prepared, not improvising from a generic deck.

  3. Manage the Process

Rupert stays involved as conversations develop: follow-ups, next steps, and keeping momentum through the raise. Investor relationships remain yours. Dori is available to help manage the process without sitting between you and the investor.
