About

Built by someone who has raised, advised and operated.

Dori Fussmann is an entrepreneur, finance executive and former investment banker who has spent his career on both sides of the fundraising table. He founded and led The Vets, previously worked in investment banking at Citi, Morgan Stanley and Ion Pacific, and today serves as CFO of BlueMark.

At Citi, Morgan Stanley and Ion Pacific he advised companies on M&A, IPOs and strategic financing across technology and consumer. That work taught him how institutional investors actually evaluate a raise — thesis fit, timing, and whether the story holds up in a real conversation.

He later founded and led The Vets, a U.S. home pet-care company that raised institutional capital and later merged with BetterVet. He has also served as fractional CFO on later-stage financings, including Snout's $100M facility, and today runs finance at BlueMark, an impact-investment intelligence platform.

He mentors early-stage founders through Cornell Tech's Runway Startups Program and Yale's Tsai CITY — advising on fundraising, business models, go-to-market and positioning. Rupert was built to bring the discipline of institutional dealmaking to founder-led fundraising without the opacity, commissions or middleman dynamic.

Dori holds degrees in Accounting and Business Management (B.A.) and Law (LL.B.) from IDC Herzliya.
